Illinois Police Called To Nursing Home For A Fight
It's hard to describe the environment and vibe inside a nursing home in Illinois. I know it's strange to say it this way, but it's kind of like a college dorm for older people who have issues with their health. Most of them are kind of the same, but at the same time very different. I think a lot has to do with who works and lives there.

You have many older people living in a small community. Most of the residents can't leave, so it can grow old after a while. Some of the nursing homes are welcoming and inviting, while others are plain and cold. The food isn't always the best. The time there can be long and boring. It's enough to make anyone crabby.
Like I said, there are a lot of people living in nursing homes, and everyone has a different personality. Apparently, two residents of this facility had a little disagreement. One of the ladies spilled food, and the other woman was very angry about it. They started arguing, and then the incident got violent.

One female resident scratched the other one. The police were called. The suspect claimed to be innocent. The officers decided not to make any arrests. Hopefully, they both learned their lesson, and it won't happen again.
According to Patch...
A 65-year-old Mount Prospect woman was arrested Wednesday on a charge of battery.
Police said the woman scratched another person when food was spilled about noon on July 29 at Bella Terrace Elmhurst nursing home, 420 W. Butterfield Road.
The woman, who denied the allegation, was released.
