When I was growing up, my father worked very hard. I decided early on in my life that our family needed some sort of vacation every year. He stuck with that rule his whole life and was very happy with the decision. I have followed in his footsteps with that thought.

I learned that it didn't have to be something super expensive. Taking a few days off and relaxing with family can work too. The only problem is that you could easily get distracted by the outside which could steal away your fun. It's usually best to get out of town for at least a couple of days.
