Cat Lovers from All Across Illinois Attended The Very First "Cat Tour" In Chicago
All my life, I've been an animal and pet person. I believe they are good to have in your life. I grew up with dogs, but as an adult with my own family, we are cat people. I'm not afraid to admit that it's been fun. I know that cats get a bad rep, but all of our cats have been friendly and loving. Owning a pet is like having another member of your family.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times...
A large crowd descended on Lincoln Square Saturday — er, “Caturday” — to view more than 125 neighborhood cats on porches and in windows and yards.
Recently, there was a cat-related event in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. It was a "Cat Tour" held on "Caturday." The cat owners in that area signed up to be a stop on the tour. They would have their cats in windows, on porches, and even in yards for the tour to enjoy. In all, there were 125 cat stops along the route. I've heard of historic house tours, but never a cat tour. I think this is so cool.

Everyone really got into the whole event. Businesses in the area hosted specials and fun for all the visiting cat lovers. The cat owners and tour participants wore costumes, made signs, and more. I think this would be a really fun event for Rockford.
