I enjoy taking vacations and traveling. I believe it's necessary for me to take time away from my job and real life for a hard-earned break. When I take time off, there are only a limited number of days, so I prefer flying over driving. Otherwise, I'm spending too many hours in the car instead of relaxing.

I understand that airports and flying have become a lot of work and a pain in the neck, but in my opinion, most of the time, it's worth it to me. I know some people are very nervous flyers, so just getting on an airplane is a lot for them. Now imagine if there was some sort of issue.

Recently, a flight was going from O'Hare to Houston. Everything seemed to be going well until the landing in Texas.  A couple of the tires on the landing gear had a blowout just as they touched the runway. That definitely freaked out the majority of the passengers.

Have you ever been in a car when it blew a tire? That's scary enough. Now think about it happening during an airplane landing. Yeah, no thank you. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident. I'm guessing a few of those passengers are going to drive home instead of flying.

According to ABC 7 Chicago...

A plane's tires blew out at a Texas airport, resulting in some scary moments for passengers on Sunday.

It happened when a flight out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport was landing in Houston.

Passengers say there was a loud thud, the plane bounced, and people started screaming.
