Wildlife On The Runway Disrupts O’Hare Flight Schedules

Recently, air traffic at O'Hare International Airport in Illinois was delayed after a wild animal took to the runway, refused to leave, and causes details to flights leaving and going to Chicago.

I've been pretty lucky in my life when I comes to traveling. My experiences have taken me to a lot of different locations. Many times I've been able to fly to my destinations. Though it gets you to the place faster, there are still many different issues when it comes to flying. One of the major problems is delays. They happen for a lot of different reasons, but it still puts a damper on your travel plans.

An aviation-tracking account reported multiple flights had to go around because of a coyote on a runway.

Beware Of Active Coyotes And Foxes In Illinois

The last couple of times I've flown out of O'Hare Airport, they were a pure headache. Delay after delay for several hours. At least, there wasn't a problem like recently at that very busy Illinois airport. This issue effected many different flights coming in and out of the terminals. The flight schedule was interupted by coyotes. That's something you don't expect at an airport in a major city like Chicago.

I realize that there are many wild animals that roam the grounds of O'Hare Airport, but I was surprised to hear it includes coyotes. You would think the noise for the airplane engines would scare them off, but that's not the casue It ensure the safety of the coyotes, the planes were redirected to other area of the airport, or to last least circle for a few minutes. Hopefully, the flights aren't delayed for too long.
