According to Bleacher Report, a movie based on the Chicago Cubs World Series season and the incredible life of David Ross will be hitting the big screen.

"Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages" is the name of Grandpa Rossy's book which will be turned into a movie. After a stellar performance on Dancing With the Stars, hey why not.

I guess the big question about making a Chicago Cubs movie, who plays the Cubs? The Chicago Cubs had so many likeable characters, Hollywood just has to be chomping at the bit to be a part of this.

So I came up with a few suggestions of actors I would like to see in this movie. I don't know if my idea's would cause a budget issue, but here we go:

  • David Ross: Me
  • Kris Bryant: Johnny Depp
  • John Lackey: Vince Vaughn
  • Jason Heyward: Denzel Washington
  • Addison Russell: Tiger Woods
  • Jake Arrieta: Tom Hanks
  • John Lester: Dwayne Johnson
  • Carl Edwards Jr: Will Smith
  • Anthony Rizzo: Sylvester Stallone
  • Kyle Schwarber: Danny Devito
