Cable Snaps on Wisconsin Dells Ride, Seconds Before Launch [VIDEO]

A family is lucky to be alive and unharmed.

WREX reports that the Catapult Ride at Wisconsin Dells is now back up and running after a scary moment caught on camera.

A woman and child were safely strapped into the ride. As the countdown to launch started, one of the cables snapped. Thankfully, the cable did not hurt either of the passengers. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if the cable snapped while the ride was in mid air.

The Catapult Ride has been repaired and is up and running again.
