Brews and BBQ and Other Illinois Festivals That Rock

Summer time brings out festival season. We have some great stuff lined up around here for sure.

So there's this whole Brews & BBQ thing you may have heard of, and I think you might get some MORE news soon that you will like. We pretty much have this whole festival thing locked down.

But until then, how about some other festivals in Illinois that are quite unique.

Some of these are so off the deep end, I want to go. Seriously The Popeye Picnic and Pet Show? Who doesn't want that on their calendar.

• Fulton Dutch Days Festival - Make wooden shoes and eat Dutch food.

• Superman Celebration - Now I've heard of this one. Metropolis, Illinois.
• International Horseradish Festival - Live music and Bloody Marys
• Midwest Garlic Fest   -  Bring a tooth brush
• Stark County Morel Mushroom Festival - Kids activities and mushroom soup
• Veggie Fest - Lots of free samples, eat up
• Turkey Testicle Festival- People around here know this one. This is nuts.
