A new art exhibit using plants as art opens at the Rockford Art Museum today.

This will be something you have to see. Just make sure to get over to the Rockford Art Museum quickly, as the exhibit will be only be open to the public June 28 - June 30.

The reason for such a short showing is that eventually, the art will die.

Yes, the new exhibit will be made completely out of plants and flowers!

According to the Rockford Art Museum, the 17 local floral designers will be showcasing their work.

This is a collaboration with the Klehm Arboretum, Anderson Gardens and the Nicholas Conservatory.

You can visit the exhibit from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Today, tomorrow and Thursday. The exhibit is free with a RAM admission ($7 for adults, $3/seniors and students, free for children under 12.) Admission is free every Tuesday.
