Alleged Illinois Dispensary Receipt Making Its Rounds on Facebook

A tobacco and vape shop in Oregon, Illinois is sharing what they claim to be a receipt from a marijuana dispensary in Illinois. If this is indeed an actual receipt it may steer some people away from buying pot, at least legally.

Sam's Tobacco & Vape shared an image of what appears to be a receipt for recreational marijuana from a dispensary in Illinois.

The total tax on the $220 purchase is $82.50. I'm not a math guy so I had to Google it, but it's 37.5% in taxes for pot. This makes perfect sense as to how Illinois made millions of dollars in its first day of recreational marijuana sales.
