I have so many great memories of taking my family to apple orchards. We usually go on a Sunday when the Chicago Bears are on the bye week. It's fun to pick your own apples. Plus, you can enjoy plenty of tasty treats like fresh donuts and cider. They usually have a cute little gift shop. Plus, you can sometimes find farm animals and other activities for the kids.

Sad News For Apple Orchard Fans In Wisconsin

I have some sad news for fans of Wisconsin apple orchards. Unfortunately, one in the Door County area has been closed down and abandoned. Most of the trees are gone and the ones that remain are dead. The fields are overgrown with weeds. The fun is all gone. Worst of all, there is one major thing missing. That is the fresh delicious donuts.

I tried to find out some info about the abandoned apple orchard but my search came up with nothing. The only thing I know was posted with the video on YouTube. It's located in Door County. The footage is from just a couple of weeks ago in September. The description also says it's haunted but I found no evidence of that from watching the clip.
