For the record, don't tell my husband I hid one of our boxes in my office desk drawer.

They are  the greatest cookie of all time, the Do-Si-Dos. Something about their peanut buttery center surrounded by two crisp cookies of peanut buttery goodness. Mmm Mmm Mmm. I'm drooling just thinking about them.

I found out today while reading a list on Thrillist.com that I never have to worry about them discontinuing.

I learned so much about these scrumptious little buggers and I couldn't wait to share!

1. Turns out you can actually make the original recipe for Girl Scout cookies at home. It doesn't seem too hard. Actually I think my mom uses the same recipe for her sugar cookies!

2. There are only two companies on the entire planet that make all of the cookies. They are made by ABC Smart Cookies and Little Brownie Bakers. Plus, Each Girl Scout council can choose who they want to make their cookies. In turn, each baker gets to choose what to call their cookies and what recipe to use.

3. That pain in the neck Honey Boo Boo is banned from selling cookies. Why? She isn't a Girl Scout and she was selling signed boxes online.

4. Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos and Trefoils are non-negotiable. They will be made every year. Whoohoo!

5. Back in 1933, Girl Scout Cookies only cost 23 cents! Twenty bucks and your freezer was filled with Thin Mints.
