Cod-Liver Oil, egg yolks and bowel movements, oh my!

I'm pregnant for the first time and the thought of raising a tiny little human is terrifying.

What if I'm awful at it? Will my motherly instincts kick in? Thankfully my husband is the "baby-whisperer" and I have an incredible family to stick beside me as my little family is growing by one.

I've been reading my fair share of books to prepare myself for motherhood.

I've been given many books as well, each of them unique and full of information.

The most unique book I've been given is Our Babies: Their Feeding, Care, and Training by Dr. Herman N. Bundesen.

The first printing of the book was in 1925 and this edition is from the year 1947.

The information in the book is well, very out dated! I picked the 5 strangest things I've read in the first few chapters of the book and couldn't wait to share them with you!

Weird, huh? What's the strangest advice you were given as a soon-to-be parent?
