Choosing a Baby’s Name is Extremely Difficult

On this edition of From a First Time Mom, I talk about how difficult it is to name your child.

It can't be just me, right?

Naming a kid is SO hard. There is so much to think about.

I went to the bank the other day and the clerk asked me what I was having. I was proud to say my husband and I were expecting our first baby girl.

She asked if we had any names in mind which to I replied how difficult it was to find a name.

She tossed hear hair back and said, "oh names are easy. My boyfriend and I already know what we will name our kids. Our girl will be Charlotte."

I felt terrible because I think the look on my face went to complete horror. Not because of the name Charlotte, but because how was it so easy for her and her significant other?

Here are some of the problems we are having trying to figure out what to name our baby:

Yup, he wants to name her after a comic book character. Full disclosure: I don't mind our daughter sharing the same name as a comic book character... it just can't be SuperWoman. That's just weird.
