4 Songs About Illinois That I Love [LISTEN]

I love being a native to the Land of Lincoln. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

Celebrate being from this awesome state by cranking up some of the most rockin' tunes about Illinois.

1. A favorite on the All Request Nooner, it's “Lake Shore Drive”  by Aliotta, Haynes and Jeremiah. I remember driving down LSD with my dad and hearing this song for the first time.

2. Need I say anymore? Eric Clapton's "Sweet Home Chicago" is a favorite by all.

3. Skip James was a blues legend, and his song “Illinois Blues” puts goosebumps on my arms.
