3rd Annual Officer Jaimie Cox 5K on Saturday is Cancelled

Due to COVID-19 and the state restrictions put into place this Saturday in Illinois, the 3rd Annual Officer Jaimie Cox Foundation 5K has been cancelled.

From the Officer Jaimie Cox Foundation Facebook Page:

This decision comes after discussion among Jaimie Cox Foundation board members as well as the Winnebago County Health Department. We were given permission to proceed with the event, however, it would not be possible to pull the event off within the required parameters.

The Facebook page is asking those that were planning on running, to participate "virtually" and send in pictures.

If you are signed up, they ask you to pick up your shirts, medals and bibs this Saturday morning at Roscoe Middle School from 8 am - Noon. They will have a drive-thru pickup line.
