300-Foot Slip-N-Slide Coming to Chicago This Month

Relive your youth, lather on the sunscreen and get ready to slide in style.

Slip-N-Slides are one of the most simple yet incredible inventions.

It's just a long plastic sheet that with the combination of water and soap, one can slide on their tummy for more fun than a pig has in a pile of poop.

Honestly it's the best.

I'm pretty sure your kids have already ruined their Slip-N-Slide this summer given how many hot days we have had. If your kids are 5-years-old or up, let them slide on the biggest Slip-N-Slide Illinois has ever seen.

In Chicago, Slide the City is bringing almost 1,000 feet of slip and slide to Cricket Hill on Montrose Beach in Chicago according to DNAInfo. There will be three 300-foot slides on the hill that kids and adults alike can slide down.

Tickets are $30 for one person and the price increases as the date of the event, July 30, gets closer. There are also family packages available too.
