Some theaters near Rockford will feature $2 Wednesday morning family movies.

Kids Love Movies

I remember when I was a kid, going to the movies was something special my family did a few times a year.

I loved it. Going to the theater with those unique chairs. Of course, I liked all the snacks and beverages. That was a nice treat. Plus, seeing a flick on the huge screen and awesome sound. That was the best.

My daughter loves going to the movies. She would ask to go all the time. We would go quite a bit when she was young. It is a fun way to keep the children busy for a couple of hours.

I do not think I have ever heard of a kid who did not like going to the show. Especially with all the family-type movies out in theaters.

It can get expensive, so you have to pick and chose which ones to see on the big screen. Sometimes, you can get lucky and find a deal. Here is one worth checking out.

Affordable Movies

With the kids off from school for several weeks, I think you will be looking for some options to keep them entertained. Being reasonably priced is a bonus.

According to classiccinemas.com,

"See family movies all summer long on Wednesday mornings for $2. Get reserved seating tickets online (no convenience fee!) or at the theatre. All locations will have a Wednesday morning auditorium dedicated for guests who may need more freedom than a traditional cinema setting allows."

This promotion is being hosted by Classic Cinemas who have some locations near Rockford including...
