10-Year-Old Boy Charged With Homicide

A disturbing story from Pennsylvania, a 10-year-old boy is being charged for homicide after beating a 90-year-old woman to death.

Tristen Kurilla claimes that he didn't mean to kill the woman, just hurt her.

Tristen was visiting his grandfather who is a caretaker of 90-year-old Helen Novak.

Story goes, the elderly woman yelled at Tristen, and that made him mad. He then put a cane around her throat and repeatedly punched her in the throat.

WGN reports that an autopsy was performed on Helen and her death was ruled a homicide.

No bail has been set for Tristen, as he is currently locked up at the Wayne County Correctional Facility.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this story, but it seems as if this child will be charged as an adult. Do you think he should be?
