The Illinois County you live in has something to do with how long you will live. Where does Winnebago County rank?

It's no surprise to anyone that women out live men. There are many factors that contribute to the higher life expectancy for women including thoughts that women are less likely to be risk takers, take better care of their health and succumb to heart disease at a later age than men.

Illinois ranks high on the list for life expectancy. The life expectancy as a whole in the United States in 2013 and 2014 was 78.86 years. Illinoisans registered a slightly better outlook, with the average Illinois able to expect to live to 78.96.

Turns out that the county you live in may determine your life expectancy.

According to RebootIllinois.com,

...the average life expectancy of a given community can be nudged up or down based on when most people in the community were born (their ages), the gender distribution of people in a community, average income, public health initiatives, rate of insurance coverage, race, education levels, crime rates and other factors.

With all of these factors put in place, WorldLifeExpectancy.com has put together a list ranking the life expectancy of both men and women based on counties.
