WOW! Are You Ready to Feast on the Most ‘Essential’ Steak in Illinois?
Once you put your eyes on this 24-ounce piece of meat heaven you won't be able to focus on much else. Ok, maybe that's just me.
Where do you go for a great steak?
That's an important question to ask someone. Everyone's taste buds are different. The cut of meat I prefer may not be what you prefer.
I struggle asking that question to most people as I love to eat a 'great' steak. I would be very disappointed if I got all worked up to drop some serious money on a meal that just didn't hit like I was expecting.
Best steakhouses in Illinois
I've looked at countless lists like that on the web and wondered if that would be how I'd find the next great steak to put me in a food coma.
To be honest, it's kind of how things happened today that led me to sharing this great-looking steak with you.
I think I found one of my new favorite steaks, thanks to a list of iconic meals around Chicago.
There's another issue I have with finding great steaks, they're always in and around the city of Chicago. I agree with the list's author,
"Chicago steakhouses are embedded in the city’s dining DNA"
But I live in Rockford and I don't want to always drive that far to eat a great steak, not to mention having the energy after a meat coma to drive back home.
But for this beauty, I think I'll make all the exceptions.
Take a long look at the 24-ounce bone-in ribeye aged for 28 days before being salted, peppered and seared to perfection.
