Ah, two of my least favorite things combined together for one incredible record breaking moment.

Yeah, yeah... I'm not a Packers fan. Nor will I ever become a Green Bay fan. Da Bears.

Something incredibly gross happened in Green Bay territory over the weekend. The world's longest bratwurst was grilled.

Now you are probably thinking, 'Lori, this sounds wonderful! I love bratwursts.' I'm here to say no, they are gross.

Brats are so gross. What do you put on brats? Mustard? Even worse. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little thinking about it. Ground up meat in a strange casing is just about the most rancid thing I can think about on the planet.

Lambeau Field, home of the Packers, now can be the home of the world's longest bratwurst. Good for them.

They grilled the 250-pound Johnsonville brat at Lambeau field while the Packers were playing the Bears at Soldier Field yesterday. You would think that Packers fans would want to watch the game, not meat being slowly cooked. But hey, what do I know.

The brat was 120 yards, just like the length of the stadium. A special grill had to be made in order to cook the cylindrical meat.

While bratwursts and Packers aren't my thing, the folks at Lambeau did have a party for the brat which raised about $40,000 for local charities according to ABC. So, at least they did something right.

If cylindrical meat doesn't creep you out, maybe you can stomach this video from GreenBayPressGazette.com.
