Woodfield Mall Put on Lockdown as Car Drives Through Mall

According to My Stateline, a car literally crashed through the Woodfield Mall and was driving about inside.

The mall was put on lockdown and this "Blues Brothers" story is freaking insane.

The driver was taken into custody after driving through Sears and passing other stores on the lower level of the mall around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, according to a report from WGN 9.

No injuries have been reported, and police said there was no evidence of an active shooter.

The Chicago FBI said they are assisting local law enforcement and that there is no threat to public safety.

Police were still evacuating the mall as of 3:30 p.m., according to the report.
