Man from Illinois doesn't remember that marijuana is illegal in Wisconsin and gets arrested.

I remember this issue was discussed as recreational cannabis was becoming legal in Illinois. The authorities of our neighboring states were reminding everyone that weed might be okay in the Land of Lincoln but not in their state.

This gentleman must be sampling the product because he seems to have a memory problem which is a side-effect of getting high.

He had no problem remembering that pot is good here but somehow he forgot it's not in Wisconsin. That's a big plunder.

Here's what happened.

According to patch.com,

" An Illinois man has been arrested and charged after authorities in Racine County say he was pulled over on I-94 for multiple violations, only to have the deputy find out he was carrying multiple forms of marijuana."

The suspect was swerving and driving slow, well below the speed limit. His speech was impaired. They searched his vehicle to find several weed-related products.

When questioned by police he said, "oh yeah, I forgot it's not legal everywhere."

It almost sounds like a scene from a Cheech and Chong movie.
