Special New Beer Releases Have Been Announced For Black Friday In Wisconsin

It's been interesting to watch the evolution of Black Friday, especially over the past few years. Remember when it was just a crazy free-for-all? It was a stampede from the door to the new products for the season that were selling at low prices. At times, it would turn into a riot.

Some consumers still enjoy going out that morning to find deals. I would never shop on Black Friday until it became a smaller version of Record Store Day with lots of unique releases from my favorite bands.

The beer industry in Wisconsin has now joined in the Black Friday fun. Many of the breweries in the state are releasing special beverages just for that day. Fans of brewskis are super excited to go out and grab their favorite brands.

This year the breweries are going all out with limited edition flavors and styles only available on that day. Trust me, they'll sell out too so don't sleep on the ones you like. It's a mixture of cans, bottles, and drafts. Many of the locations are hosting special events for these new releases.

If you're going to be out shopping anyway, you might as well pick up some delicious beer while you're at it. They could make great Christmas gifts for those beer lovers on your list but don't forget to treat yourself.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
