Why Are There Scarves All Over Rockford?

The reason will make you smile from ear to ear.

Saturday morning was when it all began. Scarves were tied all over different parts of downtown Rockford. I even saw gloves and hats too. The reason being is the first annual Chase the Chill event.

According to WIFR, a group of volunteers went out in the freezing temperatures to put out hats, scarves and gloves for the homeless of Rockford.

Anyone who may need one, can just take it from where they found it. How awesome is that!?

The volunteers have been working so hard on all of the scarves, hats and gloves. Of course, all made with extra love.
