Was The St Louis Meteor Shower A Tease For The End of the World in The Year 2880?

Monday night in St Louis a meteor streaked past the arch and man did that look cool. Check out this awesome video:

What exactly was the deal with that meteor? Is it a sign of what could be in the year 2880? OK, that's a long ways off but that could be when a meteor hits earth and ENDS HUMAN LIFE! Won't it be all robots by then anyway?

From INDEPENDENT comes this story that has scientists very concerned, for out robots or something. There's a 1 in 4000 chance that a meteor that is heading towards earth, could wipe this place out in 2880.

March 16th 2880 is the projected date that "Asteroid 1950 DA" will kill us all, or something.
