A Chicago restaurant sells a two-foot-long burrito.

I am not afraid to admit I am wrong when I make a mistake. I was strictly a taco guy until I went to college. For some reason, I just would not give burritos the time of day. Do not get me wrong, I still love tacos. Now, they just have to split meal time with burritos. In fact, a couple of days ago I went out for some Mexican food and I could not decide which to have, so I ordered both.

My love for burritos started in school. I went to Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, A LaBamba Burrito opened up across the street from my favorite hangout, the Pub II. One night at bar time, my roommate convinced me to get some food on the way home. We gave the new place a shot. I was immediately a big fan. It became a regular stop on the way home.

After college, many of my friends moved to Chicago in areas like Wrigleyville and Lincoln Park. I would go to visit them on the weekends. We made it a mission to find little burrito stands throughout to city to check out after a night of partying. We discover several amazing places.

Still, after all these years, LaBamba is one of my all-time favorites. They are located in a few different college towns. If I visit one, it is definitely a stop for at least one meal. If you are not familiar with the place. They are known for burritos as big as your head.

I found one place that advertised two-pound burritos. I weighed myself before and after. Yes, believe it or not, I did gain two pounds. Now, I have just discovered a place that has a two-foot burrito. That has just been added to my bucket list.

According to onlyinyourstate.com,

"Martinez Market & Grill is the place to go if you want a burrito. But you'll want to come hungry as the portions are huge! Introducing the Big Baby Burrito, weighing in at around 6-7 pounds! This massive feast is about 20-24 inches in length, about the size of an actual baby."

You have to check it out for yourself. Check out these pictures from their Facebook page.

Now, that is what I call a burrito.
