This Saturday in Rockford there is a St. Baldrick's benefit to raise awareness and money for kids cancer research.

The temperature hit 80 degrees yesterday. Spring is finally here. You've let your hair and beard grow out over the winter. It's time to get that summer look ready by cutting it all off.

Here's the best part. You can do it for a great cause. It's a St. Baldrick's fundraiser to raise awareness and money for kids cancer research.

The event is this Saturday, May 5th 12pm-5pm at Brewsky's at 4414 Charles Street in Rockford.

Everybody is invited and anybody can get involved. You can shave your head, volunteer, or donate.

The benefit will feature the signature head shaving. Participants will receive a free haircut and t-shirt.

There will also be an incredible silent auction featuring amazing items like gift baskets, autographed sports memorabilia, and sport event tickets.
