Are you and your pooch looking to move?

A new survey just revealed which cities are the most dog-friendly across America. When I think of things that make a city dog friendly, here's what I think of ...

  • LOTS of grass
  • Dog-friendly businesses
  • Water bowls and treat bins along city streets
  • Dog parks

I'll never forget the first time I visited a super dog-friendly city and I saw a dog walking around a store with its owner who was shopping. I was like, WAIT! There's a dog in here!

WalletHub just released a list of the most dog-friendly cities. Here's how they ranked the cities -

With animal parents in mind, WalletHub compared the pet-friendliness of the 100 largest U.S. cities across 23 key metrics. Our data set ranges from minimum pet-care provider rate per visit to pet businesses per capita to walkability.

So out of 100 cities, one Wisconsin city ranked pretty high on the list.
Madison, WI almost made it into the top 25. They ranked 26 on the list.
Chicago didn't rank very high on the list, but they did make it on another mini list from the survey.

Go Chicago! They actually ranked #64 on the list. Milwaukee also made the list. They ranked a little lower at #85.

So if you're looking for a fun day with your pup, you might want to plan a day trip to Madison. Need some suggestions on what to do?

Time to plan a day of fido fun!
