This Unofficial List of Rockford’s Best Music Teachers Has Us Singing

Maybe your whole life you've wanted to learn how to play the guitar, or sing in a choir? Now's the time, especially when you have a list like this.

If 2020 taught us anything it's that at a moment's notice the entire world actually can shut down.

And, well, it could happen again, which means if you want to learn a new skill, or maybe work on a skill you once had as a kid, there's no time like the present.

I'm talking specifically about musical instruments right now, but I believe that's true for pretty much any skill, there's no harm in trying to learn a new one!

Now back to the music I mentioned before.

In order to get those musical skills, you probably want a great music teacher.

We are celebrating music on Good Day Stateline the week of September 13, so we thought it would be fun to ask fans who is their favorite local music teacher or musician?

The list we got... OMG, it's long!

While the list is very long, there are a few entries that pop up more than once!

Adam Walsh from The Studio Rockford is mentioned a few times in the responses, so is Jodi Beach, Michael R. Kelly, Jill Jett, Dee Jackson and Valerie Brandt-Soetermans.
