Back in 2016, the two surviving members of The Doors Robby Krieger and John Densmore decided to get some musician friends together for a celebration of the life of their former bandmate Ray Manzarek.

For one night only the hybrid of that concert along with a documentary, The Doors Break on Thru: A Celebration of Ray Manzarek,  will be in theaters.

February 12th, which is Ray's birthday, is the night Doors fans can see the 2016 concert that features Robbie and John, along with the Foo Fighters Taylor Hawkins and Rami Jaffee, Stone Temple Pilots Robert DeLeo, Gov't Mule's Warren Hayes and more.

The film also contains archival footage of the band, new interviews with Robby and John, and conversations with Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek.

Sadly none of the Rockford theaters will be hosting this film, but there are plenty in the area who will be. You can get your tickets now by clicking here.
