District 205

Bullying has always been an issue. And lately, too many stories of kids being bullied so bad that they're actually taking their own lives. Bullying has become unescapable.

After almost 50 years teaching the youth of Rockford, Jim Duhigg has retired.

All Rockford Public Schools are closed today after frigid weather kept some District 205 buses from starting.

A new plan would provide every student in District 205 with a free breakfast and lunch each day at school.
