Outdoor Holiday Decoration Warning For Illinois Residents

Ever since I saw the movie, "Christmas Vacation," I wanted to have some sort of crazy holiday display outside my house. We always had a bunch of decorations inside but never outdoors. I thought we should take it to the next level but it just never happened.

We keep adding to our outdoor Christmas display every year. My family has also started to include other holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Easter. It's become our thing and we're having a lot of fun while doing it.

Halloween has been really fun because the kids have their parents take pictures of them with our inflatables when they stop by for trick-or-treating. Since our daughter is grown up, it's cute to see the children excited and having fun.

Unfortunately, there's always someone that has to ruin the fun. A thief stole our most popular Halloween inflatable. It was a Frankenstein Minnion. I'm so disappointed. I guess now we'll have to be extra careful with whatever decorations we put out in our yard.

If you put up outdoor displays, please make sure they're secure so they don't get stolen. If you ask me, stealing from people who are trying to have a good time is bad karma.
