Spider-Man Gets Busted After Curfew in Latest Homecoming Clip
If the Spider-Man movies have taught us anything over the years, it's just how much trouble the webhead has keeping his identity a secret.
The adorable co-stars of Spider-Man Homecoming, Tom Holland and Zendaya, showed up at the MTV Movie and TV Awards this weekend to debut a new clip from the anticipated superhero flick. In it, Peter Parker returns to his apartment late at night, thinking he's made it home without Aunt May catching him in the act. Unfortunately for Spidey, his best friend Ned was waiting for him in his room, spoiling his sneaking attempt.
Tom Holland was delightful in his lengthy cameo in Captain America: Civil War, and even in just these brief moments from the Homecoming trailers, he looks to be maintaining the charm that captured the hearts of so many fans. It's great to see a high schooler Spider-Man again, and that youthful exuberance is quite infectious. Hopefully it carries through the whole film.
There's a tiny bit of Zendaya in the clip, but we still haven't seen much of who or what she'll be in the film other than a student at Peter's school. As we saw on Lip Sync Battle this past weekend, Zendaya and Holland appear to have great chemistry off screen. Hopefully we get to see more of that relationship on screen, despite the inclusion of potential love interest Liz Allan in Homecoming. We'll find out when Spider-Man Homecoming releases on July 5.
