If your pet is injured, you can take them to a veterinarian. What happens when wildlife are found injured? More than 500 have been taken to a ranch in the Midwest that cares and rehabs as many as possible.

I first learned about Wild Heart Ranch in Claremore, Oklahoma thanks to a Facebook Reel that I saw in my news feed this week. Look at this volunteer who is surrounded by dozens of young fawns. These animals are just a few of the more than 500 that are cared for by the facility.

They recently shared a unique story on Facebook telling the story of a fawn who was born only after her mother was hit by a car. They're now nursing her to maturity.

Many years ago, Wild Heart Ranch made the news as they rehabbed and eventually released an injured bald eagle back into the wild.

According to their official website, they manage one of the most expensive animal rescues in America. If you are learning about this rescue ranch for the first time and wondering how you can help, they have an Amazon wish list where they have the supplies they regularly use.

If theirs is a cause you'd like to know more about, you can follow them on Facebook and their official website. Encouraging to see Midwesterners who not only have a passion to help animals, but are really doing something about it.
