Rockford Woman Charged with Battery to a Child
What is wrong with people?!?! Seriously, how does one harm a four-year-old child?
Yesterday we learned about the scumbag who beat a poor defenseless child to death over spilling juice on his Xbox, now today there's this.
Thankfully, in this case, the child wasn't killed.
Winnebago County Grand Jury has indicted Tia Hunt, 36, of Rockford on charges of battery to a 4-year-old-girl.
Back in September of 2018 Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputies investigated a complaint where a man said Hunt assaulted his daughter.
Because the poor child showed visible bruising on her face, detectives then conducted an investigation, which resulted in Hunt being charged with aggravated domestic battery along with aggravated battery to a child.
If she is convicted she could face up to 12 years in prison. Hunt is scheduled to appear in court again January 16, 2019.
Here's hoping this kind of horror against kids in the news ends soon.
