Have you gotten the COVID-19 vaccine yet? If you have, then you probably have that snazzy little vaccine card with your name and vaccine date on it. That card is going to become more and more important as time goes on this year. I have a feeling it will be like your driver's license or passport at some point.

So it's probably not the best idea to continuously fold it up and put it in your pocket or wallet. That sounds like a sure fire way to damage or lose your card.

A local postal shop wants to help you prevent all of that nonsense from happening. The Postal Shoppe, which has two locations in Rockford, is offering free lamination. All you have to do is head over to the shop and ask them to laminate your card.

According to WTVO, Larry Hinkle, the Co-Owner said -

The paper certificates that people are getting just won’t stand years of folding and unfolding. We thought if we laminate for the customers that they’ll be able to hang on to them and they’ll be in good shape longer.

It's a small act that will really help make sure you're good for the future when it comes to needing these vaccine cards.

The two locations for the Postal Shoppe are -

  • Postal Shoppe - Edgebrook1643 N. Alpine Road

    Suite 104

    Rockford, Illinois 61107

  • Postal Shoppe - Perryville(with drive-up shipping facilities)

    2205 S. Perryville Road

    Rockford, Illinois 61108

So if you have your vaccine card, you should totally take advantage of this free local offer!
