Rockford Musical Duo To Host Weekly Live Stream Couch Concert

A weekly live streaming couch concert will be hosted by Rockford's own Miles Nielsen and Kelly Steward.

We are living in a strange new way right now. We are stuck in our homes and looking for ways to entertain ourselves and our families. On the other side, musicians can't currently tour to bring us fun events. '

Two groups, one looking for an escape and another wanting to share their talents. Hey, guess what, the internet can be used for good. Artists throughout the world are flocking to Social Media to help their fans get through this difficult time.

It's happening locally too. Rockford musicians, Miles Nielsen and Kelly Steward are putting on weekly "Quaranstreams." They are shows live from their living room that you can watch from the safety of your own home through Facebook Live. Don't worry, the duo is married, so they aren't breaking any "Social Distancing" rules.

These performances will happen on Thursdays at 8 pm until "Shelter In Place" is done in Illinois. To watch the shows, go HERE.
