Rockford Leaders Watch as a $400 Million Casino in Beloit Becomes Reality

There's a giant empty space off of I-90 and East State in Rockford that should have a casino there at some point. But for now, local leaders can only look north and daydream.

According to WREX  the Bureau of Indian Affairs held a public hearing to get public feedback about the Ho-Chunk Nation’s plan to build a casino that will include a water park and a hotel. This $400 million dollar project will bring 1000 plus jobs to the area.
