When I was growing up, Saturday Night Live was in it's early years of creating groundbreaking sketch comedy with the likes of John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy and other household names. There was also another very funny show that beamed in on PBS from Canada. That show was called SCTV. Second City Television.  Joe Flaherty, Martin Short (who became an SNL cast member), Dave Thomas, Andrea Martin, and my favorite John Candy.

This week, there is a lot of reminiscing about Kurt Cobain on the 20th anniversary of his suicide. We also lost John Candy in 1994. He died of a heart attack while filming the movie 'Wagons East'. One of my favorite skits was 'The Fishin' Musician'. He was a fishing guide and host of a small Canadian outdoors show. Ironically, he hated the taste of fish. Enjoy these clips of The Fishin' Musician hunting snipes with another one of my favorites, Joe Walsh.
