2013 - Alvin Lee from Ten Years After died. He was 68.

2004 - David Crosby was arrested after police found a loaded handgun and small amounts of drugs. He was later charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana.

2000 - Eric Clapton was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the third time. He was already inducted as a member of The Yardbirds and Cream.

1976 - Fleetwood Mac released the single, "Rhiannon." This was when the 'witch or wood-nymph' legend of Stevie Nicks started.

1972  - John Lennon's visa extension was canceled by the New York Office of the Immigration Department.
