Ride Sharing App Uber Delivers Ice Cream to You Today Only, Lori Tries It!

#UberIceCream is the coolest treat for a Friday.

Today is Uber Ice Cream Day! You have no idea the awesomeness that will be brought right to your front door.

I scrolled through a posting on Facebook from Uber saying that today only, the ride sharing program Uber would bring you ice cream. This has to be too good to be true? Right!?

I opened the app on my smart phone and sure enough it said I could request an ice cream truck! They were only seven minutes away and they were heading my way quickly.

That's one of my favorite things about the Uber app. It's in real time. You can see exactly when your ride, or in this case, ice cream was going to appear.

I grabbed Digital Rob, he grabbed the camera and we went running outside. To my surprise, we were greeted by the ice cream truck! Watch how it all unfolded!

If you would like ice cream today from Uber, all you have to do is:

1. Open the Uber app on Friday, July 24, between 11am and 5pm
2. Set your location and request ICE CREAM
3. If connected, order away and Ice Cream will be delivered curbside in minutes
