Possible Cougar Sighted in DuPage County
Not an older woman out on the prowl for younger men either.
According to reports a possible cougar has been spotted in a DuPage County forest persevere. Now the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is trying to figure out if there is any truth to these reports.
A forest persevere official is now looking into claims that came from a visitor who stated that they saw an animal that looked like a cougar in the woods at the East Branch Forest Preserve in Glendale Heights. The claims have yet to be confirmed and cougar sightings in Illinois are rare.
If it was a cougar, I wonder how far they could travel and would they make their way to Rock Cut State Park? If you do see a cougar, please leave the area slowly and contact a park official. These animals are dangerous and can weigh more than 200 pounds.
