Popular Illinois Coffee Company Featured in TODAY Show ‘Products That Give Back’ Segment

A relatively new coffee company out of Rockford, Illinois was highlighted in a TODAY segment on NBC.

The segment, "Products That Give Back", is exactly what it sounds like. Products from companies that give back to communities/organizations are featured in the three(ish) minute segment.

November is men's health awareness month so Rich Dorment of Men's Health magazine shared a slew of products that all support men's health. One of those products was Rockford's own Fire Department Coffee.

The segment was quick but Fire Dept. Coffee was in the spotlight as the hosts learned about some of the company's products and its mission.

The Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting groups that help firefighters and first responders who are injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges.

Billows of the aroma of Fire Department Coffee are common in our office every morning. If we could pipe it straight into our morning radio veins we absolutely would. Al Roker would probably agree.
