Police in Illinois finally capture a serial Facebook Marketplace thief who, over the past few weeks, has stolen valuable collectibles from several unsuspecting victims.

Serial Facebook Marketplace Armed Robber Apprehended By Illinois Police

I have friends who wheel and deal all the time on Facebook Marketplace. Luckily, none of them have had any issues, but I hear horror stories all the time of people getting robbed when they do the meet-up for an exchange. Sorry, but I'm not going to take the chance. It's not worth taking the chance of getting ripped off for just trying to make a little extra cash. These incidents are the perfect example.

The robberies happened over several days in March in the Gage Park neighborhood.

I don't know a lot about the Pokémon world, but I do know that some of the cards can be very valuable. Collectors are out there trying to improve their collections and make some money to support their hobby. Again, I hear stories of Pokémon cards getting stolen all the time.

In fact, recently, there was a serial Pokémon card thief ripping people off in Illinois. The victims would post their valuable Pokémon cards for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The Suspect would set up the exchange. He would then rob the unsuspecting collector at gunpoint. He did it several times. Luckily, the police were able to bust him, and his reign of Pokémon robberies is finally over.
