Not that there's anything wrong with this place. It's just fine.

That's always been my feeling on Sbarro. You know, the pizza joint at the mall.

It's never been any more or any less to me. I mean, I don't know anyone who outright loves the place and at the same time, I don't know anyone who hates it either.

Maybe that's the key to their success. Sbarro is just there and available. Sometimes that all pizza needs to be, just there when you need a big and cheesy hug.

It's not offensive, or ridiculously overpriced nor does Sbarro continuously attempt to reinvent the pie. It's just pizza (a BIG pizza) and again, it's just fine.

Knowing all that I was shocked to see it was considered one of Wisconsin's Best Pizza joints.

At first, I was like, maybe Big Seven Travel was talking about a small mom-and-pop pizza joint somewhere in Wisconsin "borrowing" the Sbarro name.

After reading, I was like "No way they're talking about Sbarro like at the CherryVale Mall."

Big Seven Travel:

This fast-food Italian eatery is known for some of the most delicious pizza by the slice in the state. At Sbarro, they offer a wide variety of pizza that can all be traced back to Carmela and Gennaro Sbarro who opened the first pizzeria in Brooklyn circa 1956. Since then it’s evolved into a favourite pizza chain around the globe and of course, in Wisconsin.

Let me first tell you, Wisconsin isn't devoid of good pizza, so I have no idea how Sbarro ended up on this list but it's there ranked 12th in all its glory on Big Seven Travel's 25 Best Pizza in Wisconsin.

Second, I really hope Big Seven Travel publishes a "Best Pretzels in Wisconsin" one day. I can't wait to see Auntie Annie's name in lights.
