Pet Bird Tattles on Owner

Guillermo Reyes was driving when he was pulled over by local authorities at a DUI Checkpoint in Mexico City last week.

While going through the routine field sobriety tests, a voice from inside of the car kept repeating "he's drunk, he's drunk!"  At first, the police officers assumed it was someone inside of the car.  After searching the vehicle, they noticed a parakeet in the back seat!  Turns out that the parakeet wasn't lying either.  Guillermo was drunk as a skunk.

Guillermo was arrested and taken to Torito, which is a type of  "hangover prison" to sleep off his buzz.  Guillermo must have had a slick tongue too, as he was able to convince the cops to let him bring his bird with him!

Can we get back to the bird now?  I mean Guillermo had it coming, driving drunk and all... but talking birds crack me up.  I imagine that it went something like this:
