Officers Called Because Jackass Found Wandering I-90 in Illinois

It's not everyday that one of these makes it's way onto a busy highway. There are so many questions, so few answers, and I was just happy with being able to type "Jackass" in the title of this story and get away with it.

So here's the missing wandering ass details. Back in 2021, police were called about this bizarre roaming creature on I-90 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Not sure about where this ass would have come from out in that area, but there has to be a location it came from near by, right?

Let's start here...These I-90 roaming officers usually deal with traffic violations like speeding, reckless driving, accidents, etc...But to have an ass loose on a highway? First off I would imagine the safety of drivers in the Arlington Heights area and of the ass is of extreme importance.

Secondly how did the ass get ON the highway? To get yourself onto the highway you would need to take a ramp onto I-90, right? Maybe the ass was riding shotgun and decided to simply get out?

So now that we have speculated enough, here's the big eared truth. The jackass escaped from it's owners trailer. Perhaps tired of I-90 traffic, I agree man...it sucks. SO officers were called to help keep Eeyore safe until the owner could return with the trailer to get him back inside. WANE

No one was hurt, the DONKEY was safely escorted back into the trailer and I-90 could resume it's 20 mph traffic crawl like any other day.
