Obsessed Horror Fans Will Love This New Slasher Museum Pop-up in Illinois
Do you like Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, or Michael Myers? Are you the kind of horror fan that won't accept watching scary movies one month out of the year? This is for you.
The doors leading to some of the best horror film memorability and replicas are officially open in Chicago. Replay Lincoln Park is a popular bar known for old-school arcade games, beer, bourbon, cocktails, and occasional pop-up museums.
Past pop-up themes at Replay included The Office, Schitt's Creek, Marvel Comics, 90s Nickelodeon, and more.
The Slasher Museum inside Replay (Lincoln Park) is open now through October 31, 2021.
Inside The Slasher Museum guests will find replicas of some of the most familiar and "deadly" horror movie killers, like Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, or Michael Myers. You'll also find a variety of movie memorabilia, recreated scenes, and more.
Everyone loves a good horror film, so we thought this would be the perfect Halloween event not to be missed. We encourage all who love spook, gore, and more to stop by and get haunted this Halloween season. - Mark Kwiatowski, owner of Replay Lincoln Park
Replay will also have special drinks available too, like “The Night He Came Home,” "Redrum," and “Voorhees A Jolly Good Fellow," according to Block Club Chicago.
The best news? No admission fee and no kids, it's completely 21+.
No reservations are required but there are strict COVID-19 rules in place.
You can check out The Slasher Musem Replay Monday through Thursday (5 pm-2 pm) Friday (3 pm-2 am), Saturday (12 pm-3 am), and Sunday (12 pm-2 am)
